The rise in average selling prices for flats in the Czech Republic continued in the second quarter of 2019. Their value went up by 4.8% compared to the previous quarter with an average price per m2 of CZK 60,700. Growth was recorded primarily in the Karlovy Vary region (+6.7%), Ustí region (+6,3%), and Zlínský region (+3.6%). Average flat prices increased the most in Prague (+8.4%), reaching an average value of CZK 84,200 per m2. Prices on the other hand dropped in the Kralovohradecký (-2.1%), Jihočeský (-4.2%) and Liberecký (-9.0 %) regions. All together over 6,464 flats were sold in the Czech Republic for CZK 24.6 billion.
