In the first quarter of 2017, the average selling prices of apartments in Prague and the regional capitals amounted to CZK 48,500 per m2. Compared to the last quarter of 2016, this represents only a minor increase of 0.9%. In total, more than 6,600 apartments worth CZK 20.3 billion were sold in development projects, brick houses and high-rise blocks. As usual, apartments were the most expensive in Prague (an increase to CZK 64,200 per m2) and the cheapest in Ústí nad Labem, where they were sold for the average price of CZK 11,900 per m2.
