In the fourth quarter of last year, the average price of apartments in Prague and regional capitals grew by 5.1% to CZK 73,800 per sq. metre. The most significant price increase was recorded in Karlovy Vary (by 16.4% to CZK 32,100 per sq. metre), Ústí nad Labem (by 9% to CZK 24,800 per sq. metre) and Ostrava (by 8.5% to CZK 32,100 per sq. metre). On the contrary, a decrease was recorded in Liberec (by 5% to CZK 46,300 per sq. metre), Zlín (by 4.5% to CZK 42,600 per sq. metre) and České Budějovice (by 4.3% to CZK 47,300 per sq. metre). The most expensive apartments remain those in Prague with an average price of CZK 98,100 per sq. metre. The least expensive regional capital is still Ústí nad Labem.
